Western Kentucky University's Accounting Department is home to the Eta Omicron chapter of Beta Alpha Psi. As a nationally recognized accounting honor society, our mission is to encourage and give recognition to accounting students who exhibit exceptional scholastic and professional excellence. Our chapter has been consistently recognized as a Superior Chapter for the past sixteen years. At the 2020 Annual Meeting, the Eta Omicron chapter was recognized as a Gold Chapter for the first time our chapter's history. To qualify for membership, an accounting student must maintain a 3.00 grade point average in all upper level accounting courses, have at least an overall 3.00 grade point average, and meet minimum hour requirements.
